Here are some of the big updates that YouTube has released in July 2023:
- Viewers across formats card in YouTube Analytics: This new card in YouTube Analytics shows creators how many of their returning viewers watch more than one format, such as Videos, Shorts, and Live. This information can help creators understand how to best reach their audience and create content that they will enjoy.
- New shopping affiliate metrics in Studio: This update adds new metrics to YouTube Studio that give creators insights into their shopping affiliate performance. These metrics include estimated revenue, total sales, number of orders, and overall product performance. This information can help creators track the success of their affiliate marketing campaigns and make informed decisions about their future strategies.
- Clips Remix: This new feature allows creators to remix clips into Shorts. This means that creators can now take short segments of their longer videos and create new Shorts from them. This is a great way for creators to repurpose their content and reach a wider audience.
