Got a Traffic Ticket by Mistake? Cancel Your E-Challan From Home With This New Trick
If you’ve ever been frustrated by an e-challan that you knew was a mistake, you’re not alone. The good news is that the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has just rolled out a new online feature to make fixing these errors much simpler.
You no longer have to go through the hassle of sending emails and waiting for a response. The PSCA has created a straightforward review option directly on its e-challan website.
Here’s how easy it is now. Just head over to the official portal at echallan.psca.gop.pk. Once you’re there, look for the ‘e-challan review’ option. You can see the details of your ticket, fill out a request to have it reviewed, and even upload a photo or any other proof you have to back up your case. After you submit your request, the PSCA team will look into it and cancel the challan if they confirm it was issued by mistake.
To make things even more convenient, the PSCA is also sending traffic violation notices directly to your phone through SMS and WhatsApp, using the number registered with the Excise Department. This way, you can see all your challans, along with the pictures, right on your mobile.
