Is This a Chance to Buy? Gold Prices Take a Minor Hit But Remain Near Peak
Hey, so you know how gold prices have been absolutely wild lately? Well, the latest news from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association is that the price of 24-karat gold just saw a tiny dip. On Saturday, it dropped by Rs. 300 per tola, bringing the new price to Rs. 362,400. That’s a very small decrease from the day before, which was at Rs. 362,700.
Even with this little drop, the cost of gold is still extremely high. It’s hanging just below its all-time record of Rs. 364,900 per tola.
The decline wasn’t just for a single tola, either. The cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also went down, losing Rs. 257 to land at Rs. 310,699. This is a change from the previous day’s price of Rs. 310,956. If you’re looking at 22-karat gold, the 10-gram price decreased by Rs. 236, settling at Rs. 284,817, down from Rs. 285,053.
This isn’t just a local thing. The international gold market also saw a small correction, with the price of gold per ounce decreasing by $3, to $3,397 from $3,400. Silver also followed suit, with its price dropping by $0.09 to $38.31.
This ongoing fluctuation is something a lot of people are paying attention to right now. It’s a great example of how global economic trends affect prices right here at home.
