Pakistan’s UAE Challenge: Agha to Captain, Squad Revealed for Tri-Series & Asia Cup
Big news coming out of Lahore today for cricket fans. The national selectors have just dropped the squad for the upcoming T20I action in the UAE, and there’s a major surprise at the top.

In a move that’s got everyone talking, Salman Ali Agha has been named the captain of the 17-man squad.
The team is heading to the UAE for two back-to-back tournaments. First up is a tri-series in Sharjah against Afghanistan and the hosts, UAE, which kicks off on August 29 and wraps up on September 7.
Right after that, the action moves to Abu Dhabi and Dubai for the main event: the ACC Asia Cup, which runs from September 9 to 28. And yes, circle your calendars because Pakistan is set to face India on September 14. They’re in Group ‘A’ alongside India, Oman, and the UAE.
