Punjab University Increases Tuition Fees by up to 59% across various Programs
Punjab University has officially raised its tuition fees for many degree programs, with the new rates taking effect this month. The increase varies between 16% and 59%, depending on the course.
On average, students will now pay about 28% more than before. The largest fee hike has been applied to the LLM (Master of Laws) program, where students will need to pay an extra Rs 5,825, making it a 59% jump in cost.
Several undergraduate courses including BSc, BCom, BBA, and MBA have seen a 15% increase in their fee structure. Similarly, the Doctor of Pharmacy (D Pharmacy) program has gone from Rs 18,000 to Rs 23,000.
LLB (Bachelor of Laws) students are facing a 28% fee increase, while those enrolled in Medical Diploma courses will now pay 16% more.
According to university officials, these changes were approved by the university’s syndicate body and will be applied from this month.
